I find live performance a rich source of inspiration, displaying wonderful vigour but always rendered with such great control.
The subjects that I have chosen to draw from are varied.  From the dazzling colour and excitement of the circus that has always thrilled me, to global dance forms reflecting many of life's moods, dramas and celebrations, to an enduring love of Commedia dell'Arte.  This Italian theatre form is now providing a rich vein of interest for new work.
